I’m so excited to introduce you to Angie from Knick of Time.

Knick of Time

{Angie won my sponsorship giveaway a few weeks ago,

so I thought it would be fun for YOU & me to get to know her a little better.}

Angie runs a very successful etsy shop called Knick of Time.

It’s an amazing shop full of vintage charm & antiques.

Just recently Angie started a blog by the same name, Knick of Time.

Her most favorite post so far is {this one}.  Here’s a sneak peek!

I asked Angie to share a little bit about herself.

About Me…

I just started my blog in July, so it’s a total baby blog. I just reached my 100th follower.  What I love about having a blog is my house can be a total disaster, but I can take a staged photo that makes it look clean!

I love working with anything old – but salvaged wood is probably my favorite. I like the bumpy, crackly finish, the dings, and scrapes it has – authentically distressed. I also absolutely love taking antique books that are falling apart and reusing them in other projects – like on furniture and to make banners. I just love the lovely caramel color and raggedy edges they get as they age.

What do you do when you’re not crafting?

When I’m not crafting, most of my time is spent on my Etsy business and going to auctions. I hit at least one or two auctions each week, looking for new goodies for my shop. I recently opened a booth in an antique store, so it’s fun to decorate a space that doesn’t get messy nearly as quickly as my home!

I’m a mom of 4 kids (3 guys and a girl). I have homeschooled them for the last 15 years. My oldest 2 have graduated and are in college now, my younger ones are a sophomore and a 6th grader. It’s been a real joy to spend so much time with them all their lives and get to share all their “firsts” – from getting a tooth to getting a sweetheart. I also teach classes in our homeschool co-op and am a co-leader of that co-op and teach children’s church.

In 2007 I was diagnosed with Muscular Sclerosis and the first episode I had that led to that diagnosis, caused my right hand to be permanently numb. At the time, I didn’t think I would ever get used to it, but I’m so used to it now, I barely think about it. Since then, every day is a gift from God. Every day without a new

episode is a great day and I’m so thankful for great medicine that controls my MS so well.

Where are you from?
I was born and raised in IL, moved to NM my senior year of high school, lived there 20 years, where I met and married my husband and had all our kids. Six years ago we relocated to rural MO and we recently put an offer on another rural home in IL – so it looks like I’ll end up going “full circle” back to my birth state.
