As you read this we are packed up in the car {hopefully getting along!}
headed to one of my most favorite places in the whole world.
I’ll be enjoying a week long vacation with my favorite people {my family, of course!}
and visiting one the most inspiring cities I’ve ever been to….Nauvoo, Illinois. {I’m so excited!}

{source}
My favorite thing about Nauvoo is the temple.
I want my kids to remember the feelings they have when they see the temple,
and of their goal to go to the temple someday.
So this is how I made a {I love to See the Temple} block for my girls’ room.
You’ll need:
a glass block {These can be found at Lowes or Home Depot.}, ribbon
Nauvoo temple vinyl {clip art from Silhouette} & the words “I love to see the temple.”
Rub the backing paper & then gently lift off the backing paper.
Apply your temple vinyl first.
Vinyl loves to stick to glass, so this project is really easy to do. 🙂
Next get your “I love to see the temple.” vinyl ready to apply.
Apply the vinyl over the top of your temple vinyl.
Then add a bow around your block.
{Enjoy!}
Oh…since I’ll be gone next week!
Thought it would be so much fun to have a

so jealous….I would love to see Nauvoo in person. I love this glass block and plan on making one for my daughter when she is baptized in January. Do you know anywhere I can buy temple vinyl already made?

Ginger…..I love, love my vinyl. Thank you so much. Can I order another set for my friend who's daughter is also getting baptized around the same time as mine? She also wants to put the temple in all of her kids bedroom's.
How much for the set? This will make a great gift.
I am so excited to get my vinyl. I also found out because of Pioneer day and studying my husband's family history that the first member baptized helped build the Nauvoo Temple and took out endowments there and was sealed. So cool!!!
So glad you are a TX girl too!!!
Can't sell the vinyl since it's a silhouette clip art. 🙁 Sent you an email. 🙂
This is SO DANG CUTE! Such a good idea. Thanks for sharing! I need to make one for my little girl's room! Thank you so much for linking up to Strut Your Stuff Saturday! We are so grateful for your support and we hope that you will be back tomorrow to share more great ideas!
