Good morning! Today I’d love to share this easy Halloween Treat Boxes tutorial with you made with my Silhouette. I also have a Silhouette Curio™ update for you! You will soon be able to buy one at your local Michaels store. Eek! So keep reading for all the details. 🙂

For this project you’ll need:
Halloween scrapbook paper
cut files from Silhouette
wiggly eyes
adhesive
candy bars (of course!)

I cut everything out with my Silhouette,
& then covered the candy bars with Halloween paper.

Then I assemble my boxes using adhesive.

Then all you have to do is stick in your candy bars. Easy peasy!

These little guys would make perfect party favors for a Halloween party!

They can even be part of the party decorations. 🙂
I’ll be sharing the simple candy corn banner tutorial next week!

The Silhouette Curio™ is coming Soon to a Michaels Near You!

You’ve heard all about it and now you can finally get your hands on it in-store. Silhouette has partnered with Michaels to bring Curio to a store near you, putting it one step closer to your craft room. Curio will be available in all Michaels stores beginning October 23^rd, as well as online at Michaels.com.

Curio is the first hobby machine to allow Silhouette users the freedom of extra media like wood, canvas, and metal. It’s the perfect companion to both the Silhouette Portrait® and the Silhouette CAMEO®. Curio is a machine with as much personality as the creators it caters to. Just imagine what you could make with Curio’s emboss, deboss, stippling, etching, and multicolor sketch abilities.

What comes in the box with a Silhouette Curio™?

Each Curio comes with an 8.5 in. x 6 in. base, cutting mat, and embossing mat; a fine embossing tool and a wide embossing tool; 50 exclusive designs available for download from the Silhouette Design Store; an AC adapter and USB cord; and the industry-leading Silhouette Studio® software.

For their first Curio product rollout, Michaels will be carrying the following Curio accessories:

Curio metal etching sheets
Curio stippling sheets
